Erin's Friendship Card

While I was getting nude, my DD8(soon) raided my scraps with my permission and made a friendship card... Am so proud, it looks fantastic! She loves being crafty and her goal is to get published so she can show her friends and get money to buy more 'stuff'!! (oh dear!)

Guess what? Nudie Gecko won the May challenge!!! His goggley eyes were so cute the judges couldn't resist!! Prize is More little Twiddleybitz!! Am so surprised! The other entries were/are gorgeous!

Sorry i've not been blogging but I've been busy creating for my Twiddleybitz DT application! Am halfway through my second piece and resisting the urge to use my heatgun to spead up drying time. Time for sleep now and finish it all tomorrow.... Just in time for the housework'

Christmas card flourish

I made this Christmas card tonight in my new room! An upside down flourish from a-z scraplets (I think!) embossed with AED glittered EP (Irish Sparkle), flower misted in scarlet and edged in gold paint dabbed, with green leaves underneath also misted and dabbed in gold, on AED PP matted in Dark green cardstock on black pre-made card, also edged in gold dabbed paint. Merry Christmas stamped in black stazon.

Studio

Getting there! Am in the process of putting everything away! It's amazing some of the stuff I've found! Forget I had it, and more stuff left over from the shop than I thought too! It feels like Christmas.... :-)

Shopping

Of to StampAntics this morning, will show my loot later!

And am setting up the garage as the Studio this afternoon and tomorrow. I bought a great solid wood 5 shelf bookcase on eBay for $72 I'm so excited! May have it in the lounge instead of the garage, I'll swap with the current bookcase and use it in the studio. Then I can go nuts in MY space!!!!

SIA

I had a wonderful time at SIA in Sydney with Alison and Peg for AED this year.

Debut of the new Eastern Elements range; Earth, Wind, and Fire. Papers loved by many, lots of examples and our class went well. I'll upload some pics of our booth. Al went all out as usual and did a fabulous job.

Here is a make and take I did at dusty attic with our geisha image from the new Fire range of EE.

Design Team Calls

Well, Twiddleybitz have put a call out for DT in Qld. I love their stuff, along with Dusty Attic, so I'm going to apply. Due by May 30.

Add this to the Diva DT Call for Scrapbook Creations and I'm gonna be busy for the next couple of weeks!

Have decided to completely convert garage to studio so Saturday will be a day for re-arranging and sorting! I might even do some before and after pics.

Oh and don't worry, am still on the DT for AED, and there should be no conflicts. A bit of cross promo and good exposure in the mags if I get in!

Am so excited.
