Hello everyone - while I've had a 'short' break I have created just a little...

This information was for the Green Tara Blog.  I have posted here as well for your viewing pleasure :-)

This project was inspired by the Lovely Man in my Life - Ian.

You Light Up My Life

I wanted to share this card with you today. I've used the fabulous black and gold pre-tied bows (a must if you are all thumbs and your hand-tied bows never look right like mine don't!!); an ivory cherry blossom; and some of the new twisted organza pearl in ivory.

I started with my black card base, added a background panel of embossed and inked cardstock. Stamped, punched, and inked my verse; Gathered my doily (crochet by kim - wagon wheel), ribbon, and flower - inked with vintage photo distress ink; and arranged them on the card. After inking my lamp post I adhered to the card and finished it off with the black bow.

One of the best things about the Green Tara products is the ability to make them fit any project with the least amount of effort!  Add a bit of distress ink to flowers and ribbons and they can perfectly match any project!

Flourish with a BLING!!!

I created a few cards and an ATC last night using some of the DELICIOUS products from Flourish with a Bling.  

I first used their products on make n takes at Paperific for Alison Ellis Design - I must say it was love at first sight!  They are easy to get off the backing, easy to customize, and because the larger flourishes are 'connected' - they're easier to place and don't warp!

The Upper Market...

Well Erin and I braved "The Upper Market" on the weekend (A craft and handmade items market held at the Upper Coomera State College) while the boys opted to stay in the car with Radar.

We met up with the lovely Lisa Kamphuis and the gorgeous Belynda from Creative Butterfly Designs.  Erin got her face painted while I was chatting with Belynda but before she could start we needed to get Erin's fringe off her face so... I bought one of Belynda's beautiful headbands... It's so gorgeous Erin doesn't like to take it off (never mind the fact that I'll put it on instead!).

WOW - It's been a while!

Hello Everyone in Blog-land!

Sorry it's been a while but on the tail end of the Brisbane show I was sooo worn out I haven't created anything!

Until this morning.  I owe a huge apology to a lovely lady!  She is my recipient for a swap and while I made her card and was going to send it - it got mixed up with all my show samples. Then I was gonna grab it before leaving the show but forgot all about it... Was only reminded the other day and now I feel like an absolute heel!  I have made another card to send today - I really hope she loves it :-)

I used some fabulous new cherry blossom flowers from Green Tara and edged them with a little AED glitter, the chippy is from Twiddleybitz and has been sprayed with Luscious Green colourspray. AED paper and an old Making memories foam stamp for the envelope!
