I couldn't help myself - I got so excited when I saw the call for participants in an artistic doll swap that I signed up to be part of it! I love to alter stuff, I LOVE the Artdoll the uber-talented Linda Baldock sent me - so "why not?" I said?
While she is nothing like I originally planned (who really follows their plans anyway?) I love her to bits, I stayed in my comfort zone and am sad to part with her - it WILL be a happy separation though - she is going to a wonderful new home in America and I'm sure she'll enjoy herself!!
I used some of the ever-wonderful Green Tara Products to alter a $5 doll from a $2 shop (yeah, i know - go Figure!), they are:
Cream Lace found Here
A variety of leaves found Here
Roses found Here
Rosebuds found Here
Hibiscus flowers found Here
Flowers sprays found Here
All these products can be found on the Green Tara website (a wholesaler here in Australia). If you didn't already know - I am on the Design Team for Green Tara - I LOVE the product and am loving working for another Australian Company. The blog for Green Tara has had a makeover and with regular posts from the Design Team - there's lots of inspiration. So if you get the chance, head over HERE to check it out :-)

Crown Elements Swap - My Crowning Glory
A little while ago i joined a Crown Elements swap with a good friend on facebook. 16 of us royalists made an element to be swapped and when we received everyone else's pieces - we were to assemble our crown.
I have enjoyed being a part of the swap immensely, I like my crown for what ad who it represents, and I am super glad I did it - but - collage is not quite my thing, and I'm not afraid to say it!!
Here's my "Crowning Glory":
Thank you to the wonderful Linda Baldock for arranging and co-ordinating the swap.
Thank you to the wonderful ladies whom took part - I am privileged to own a piece of your art and will cherish it always!

ATC - Be Free
Hello Everyone!
As I will be attending the Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo & Convention at Brisbane - June 11-13th for all 3 days; I was wondering if anyone would like to swap an ATC with me while we are there!
Basically you need only make only 1 ATC to swap with Jen at the Twiddleybitz Stall, and you will get one from Me. I will however - need to make many so please let me know HERE if you're interested!
Criteria is - you have to include some Twiddleybitz of course!
If you've never made an ATC before - basically it's a piece of art made to the size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches - in this case "any theme" so long as it includes some twiddleybitz chipboard. These are usually limited editions or series - we have examples in the gallery and if you google - you'll see a whole new world open up to you!!
I will be donating all the swapped ATC's to Twiddleybitz for display so if you'd like to make an extra one for me personally - you'd be loved even more! ;-)
Here's an example:
Ingredients:
Alison Ellis Design A Formal Affair Stripes, Script and Swirl PP
Twiddleybitz butterfly
Twiddleybitz Itty Bitty Alphas - black
Alison Ellis Design Glitter - Midnight Gold
Gold Adirondack Dauber
Kaiser jewels - black
Stampin Up Flower Die
