A for Effort

Am so proud of my babes for trying hard at school this year.  Unfortunately this year Queensland school children were marked more harshly than in other years - bringing them in line with the other states.  Right or not, many of the children I know were devastated by marks on their reports that were a grade lower than they (or the teachers) expected.  Cameron has come from a failing and repeating school - changing schools to last year being a B student with 8 A's for effort and achievement, to this year being a C student across the board.  The effect on him has been the most heart-breaking to witness, knowing how truly hard he's worked to improve.

This card was made with him (and all the other devastated kids) in mind.
